2.Properties and uses:
The resin is made from the esterification between Chinese gum rosin and glycerol
by the way of hydrolysis and the change of the molecular structures. It features as
very slight color, good heat-stability anti-age and the strength of adhesive. The resin is
mix well with nitro celluloses and alkyd resin, from which the binders enhance
the hardness, adhesive, drying time, blight and sanding property.
The products solvent in the solution of tar, ester turpentine oil and similar solv-
ents and mix well with vegetable oils through heating polymerization,it also used
in phenolic and polyurethane paints. But in any, insoluble alcoholic solvents.
