Established in 1993, Guizhou New Material Co., Ltd (GZNM) is one of China's professional manufacturers of silicon carbide powders and porous ceramic materials. In 1994, it got high-tech enterprise certification from Ministry of Science and Technology of the People's Republic of China.

Due to its long-term R&D activity in advanced ceramic materials, GZNM has significant engineering experiences and expertise in this field, as well as long-range research cooperation with famous universities and institutes of China, such as Tsinghua University, Shanghai Institute of Ceramic Chinese Academy of Science etc. All these enabled the company to fulfill the national high-tech R&D program "Development of key technologies for silicon carbide ceramic foam preparation" sponsored by Ministry of Science and Technology of the People's Republic of China.

GZNM has set up a manufacturing line with a capacity of 20 million pieces per year of ceramic foam filters used in molten metal filtration. And presently, another product line with a capacity up to 50 million pieces per year of ceramic foam filters is under construction to provide worldwide customers with convenient service and high quality products.

Since the dawn of the 21st century, GZNM has been expanding its technologies and products to a variety of application fields. Today, its products and technologies have been widely utilized in automobile part, aerospace structure material, advanced energy source, environment protection and military industries.
