Sinbad-spice gift pack has a composition of quality-terracotta-stoneware-ceramic and porcelain containers assorted in tastefully designed pinewood racks and pinewood containers of different size and shapes. The containers are filled with hand picked aromatic spices. Cloves: One of the best known of all the spices, vary considerably in size, appearance and pungency depending on their age and where they come from. The better quality clove are in a way a difficulty spice to use because their flavor easily gets out of hand and become crude and overpowering. It is used whole or ground in many types of curry. Cardamom: Cardamom is one of the finest spices and also one of the most expensive. Cardamom, in its whole form, is a plump, three sided seed pod, and sometimes bleached creamy white, through their natural color is green. The pod contain three clusters of dark brown seeds with a strong aromatic fragrance and an exotic flavor. Cardamom is an excellent addition to most rice and dishes, but should be used in discreet amounts. Cinnamon: To this day Sri Lanka is the world's principal producer of cinnamon, the most delicately scented spice. Cinnamon is the outer bark of the cinnamon tree, the finest quality is pale in color, has a pleasing fragrance, and a sweet aromatic taste. Cinnamon is used whole, broken into small pieces, or more commonly ground, in curries and dishes. Pepper is the small berry of the pepper vine. Black pepper is the dried unripe fruit of the plant.
