Hua Eng was founded in 1956 by Mr. Wang Yu-Yun and his brother Mr. Wang Yu-Fa. The company began it first operation as Hua Eng copper and Iron Industrial Co., Ltd. On October 5, 1987, we changed our name to Hua Eng Wire & Cable Co., Ltd. The next year, on July 11, the shares of Hua Eng were listed in public.
The beginning production of Hua Eng focused on copper wires. Since 1969, we have introduced new production technology form overseas and technically cooperated with Showa Electric Wire & Cable Co., Ltd. Nowadays, we are enable to manufacture various kinds of power cables, communication cables, optical fiber cables, optical fiber passive components, high quality oxygen-free copper wires and the like. We were also accredited ISO 9001 Quality Assurance Award due to our strict production process and quality control.
