The plant mainly produces various types of power transformers, power plant fans, spare parts and accessories, which can be found in more than 30 power plants and substations all over the country. Supported by Shandong Electrical Power Group corporation, the plant, through many years development, currently has the an annual capacity to produce 5 GVA large power transformers and design, develop, make and test two big series products of various fans for 300MW generating units. According to the statistics by the trade association in 1997, the total transformer output of the plant ranked ninth in the country, among which, the 220kV transformer output ranked fourth. In 1997, it became an advanced enterprise of Shandong Electrical Power Group.
