With an annual capacity of 30,000 metric tons, B&G is the largest manufacturer of natural L (+) lactic acid in Asia/Oceania.
Lactic acid has been used for centuries as a natural preservative in man food products. The L (+) form is naturally present in animal and human tissues as well as in numerous food products.
B&G produces L(+) lactic acid by fermentation of a specific non-GMO bacteria directly isolated from natural and using corn glucose as starting raw material.
B&G's range of products include L (+) lactic acid and L(+) lactates complying with the most stringent requirements for food(confectionary, meat processing, brewery, bakery, dairy, juice...), feed, industry (leather tannery, electroplating...), cosmetic and pharmaceutical applications. In order to offer its customers a comprehensive range of tailor-made solutions, B&G has developed a whole range of formulations based on lactic acid and/or lactates mixed with other organic acids.
